Comprehensive Recording of Patient Demographic Information
|
Practice manager stores very detailed patient demographic information
without presenting you with confusing screens that can be overloaded
with information. Key information is always to hand and on display
whilst secondary information is instantly available with a single
click on the mouse.
|
Insurance Company Claim Information
|
Commercial Accounting systems, and even many so called "specialist
systems", are not aware of, or do not take account of, the
additional information that you need to record for completion of
insurance claim forms. Practice Manager provides you with this option
as standard. DGL works very closely with leading Insurance Companies
and with Healthcode (a UK clearing house for the top 5 Insurers)
to ensure that all relevant information is stored and is compatible
with the respective insurer's requirements. For example, for many
insurers Practice Manager can even warn you if the insurance policy
number the patient has given you is valid or not.
|
User Defined Storage of Information
|
DGL recognise that every practices requirement for recording patient
information will vary. Accordingly, Practice Manager has up to 5
"user defined fields" to record additional information
against each patient. Screen labels and content are individually
defined by the user and can be analysed and reported upon and even
merged with letter templates.
|
"Urgent Notes" warning
|
You can attach an urgent note to a patients record which will pop
up every time that patients information is accessed. This is often
used to warn of urgent conditions or circumstances that need to
be considered when talking to or dealing with that patient.
|
Duplicate Patients
|
Various helpful aids are incorporated into the software to avoid
duplicate patient entry over and above the flexible patient search
features. These include warnings if a patient with a similar name
exists and the option to view comparable matches or to continue
adding a patient as a new patient.
|
Medico-legal Information
|
Specific facilities are also available to record any relevant Medico-legal
information including the Solicitors for both parties, Court information
and medical report progress tracking. Hospital/GP notes and X-Rays
can likewise also be recorded and tracked.
|
Referring Clinicians
|
Up to 5 referring or linked Clinicians can also be stored in the
patient files if required. The screen labels can be changed to reflect
the type of information that you wish to record, i.e.; Optician,
Rheumatologist, Dental Practitioner, etc. Once stored you can "CC"
one or all of these from within Microsoft word or automatically
included them in letter/report templates.
|
Invoice Addressee
|
Practice Manager allows you to record a third party for bills to
be sent to. This may be the parents or guardians of a child, a Solicitor
or legal firm, Insurance Company, Hospital, GP or Club.
