Many surgical instruments from endoscopes to MRI scanners offer video output capabilities, allowing you to capture high resolution images. Ensure your images are of the best possible quality.... Images can be cropped to remove unwanted borders and manipulated to improve quality, e.g. adjusting brightness, contrast and colour density; indeed, a whole host of facilities are available without having to leave Practice Manager. There is even a magnifying glass to allow you to examine areas of an image more closely. You can do more with electronically stored images... Images can then be incorporated into your letter templates, allowing you to include identity photos in medico-legal reports to prevent fraud, or to include pre and post-op photos for cosmetic surgery.
